JAMZ has announced their decision to take a break following the enlistment of three of its members into the army. Sew Zixuan, 19 and Marcus Xu, 18 have joined fellow bandmate Khoo Jun Wei in serving the nation. The Management of JAMZ has decided that the band shall discontinue all activities but will still allow them to practise their vocals during singing sessions whenever they have time to meet up. In addition, JAMZ has firmly insisted that disbanding will never cross their minds and is definitely out of the question no matter how long it takes for the band to be reunited again. Meanwhile in an interview with the media, Andy Ng mentioned that he will still continue writing songs and there might be a collaboration with good friend Louis Illias Ong of the 8th avenue and also upcoming new singer Joy Tan or possibly even being a solo artiste himself.

"It's sad that there's only me left in JAMZ but i'll still continue doing what i like best, which is songwriting and improve on my singing as well. It may take a long time, probably 4 years plus before JAMZ can be reunited again but the spirit and unity of the band will live on strong till that day comes."

However, JAMZ has asked fans not to give up on them and continue showing support, for they themselves will always stay true to their fans.

so, JAMZ is only left with A now. anyway, we've never really used that name before. it only came about when the friendster account was created. but i seriously think we would make a good band. just imagine, marc being the lead singer/main vocalist, zixuan the 2nd vocalist, me as the backup vocalist/songwriter and junwei doing all the rapping. instrument-wise, we have drums and ehh...3 recorders. haha. yea i think we would make a good band.

think about it. haha.
